Disc golf course design
A good disc golf course is not just about baskets, tee pads, and signage. It's about the experience: how the fairways are laid out, how players move through the area, how safety is ensured, and how the course serves its users year after year.
We design disc golf courses for schools, municipalities, tourist destinations, sports parks, clubs, businesses, and competitive use. Each location is unique, so each course is designed according to the terrain, its users, and its objectives.

Years of experience at your service
Our course design services are led by Erno Väyrynen, who has been involved in disc golf in various roles since the early 2000s. Erno has designed over 50 different layouts, from European and Finnish Championship courses to small school courses in Finland and the United States. His extensive experience is reflected in his practical approach to design: a course must be safe, smooth, interesting, and suitable for its intended purpose.
Alongside Erno, Kari Vesala and Joni Taipaleenmäki work on course design. Kari is one of the most experienced names in Finnish disc golf. He discovered disc sports in the early 1980s and has represented Finland in international championships over several decades. Kari has won multiple Finnish championships and has worked as a disc retailer and course designer since 2009.
Joni Taipaleenmäki brings a strong customer-centric perspective to the overall picture. He helps our clients envision what kind of course complex will best serve their specific area, users, and goals. Joni has also been involved in the sport for a long time and is well-acquainted with both the daily lives of players and the needs of various clients.
Together, our team combines extensive experience in the sport, practical course design, player insights, and knowledge of course products. This enables us to assist both in designing new courses and developing existing ones.
The right course in the right place
Every disc golf project starts with understanding the area and its intended use. In our design, we consider factors such as the size and other uses of the area, the terrain, safe throwing directions, pathways, maintenance, signage, equipment, and the desired difficulty level of the course.
A different solution is suitable for a schoolyard than for a competitive course, and different aspects are emphasized in a tourist destination than in a local sports park. The goal is always a course that works in practice: it is safe, clear, attractive, and appropriately challenging for its users.
A complete package from design to equipment
In addition to course design, we also provide the necessary products: baskets, tee pads, and signage. When design and equipment come from the same team, the entire process remains clear from the first discussion to the finished course.
Our goal is to build a course that works in practice – not just on paper. A good course encourages activity, withstands use, and offers success for both first-timers and experienced players.
