Terms of service
Terms and Conditions
Updated 22 September 2026
1. General terms
Discgolfcourse.eu and frisbeegolfrata.fi are online stores operated by Fritid Finland Oy (Finnish business ID 2274308-3). Contact details: Fritid Finland Oy, Helsinginkatu 21 C, 20100 Turku, Finland, myynti@powergrip.fi, +358 45 2718 818.
These terms apply to the products and services sold in the online store. They distinguish between consumer sales and sales to companies, municipalities and other organisations. Sections 6 and 7 apply to consumers only. Section 8 applies to business and public sector purchases only.
A consumer means a natural person who makes a purchase for a purpose other than their trade or profession. Municipalities, clubs, associations and companies are not consumers.
We reserve the right to amend these terms. Each order is governed by the terms in force at the time the order is placed. We are not liable for damage caused by force majeure.
2. Ordering and quotations
Products are ordered through the online store. When placing an order you must provide complete contact details: name, address, email address and phone number. The phone number is used to contact you if any problems arise. We send the order confirmation to the email address provided, together with dispatch and tracking details when the order is shipped, where the carrier makes these available.
A binding contract is formed when we send the order confirmation.
Complete course packages and design services are supplied on the basis of a separate quotation. The quotation states the scope of delivery, the price, the delivery schedule and the payment terms. The quotation is valid for the period stated in it.
3. Prices and VAT
Prices shown in the online store include VAT. VAT is determined by the country of delivery, and the applicable rate is shown at checkout.
For business and organisational customers holding a valid EU VAT number, the VAT treatment stated in the quotation applies.
Prices do not include delivery costs unless otherwise stated. Delivery costs are shown before the order is confirmed.
4. Payment methods
The available payment methods are shown at checkout. Deliveries made on the basis of a quotation are invoiced in accordance with the payment terms agreed in the quotation.
5. Delivery
We deliver to Finland and to other EU and EEA countries. The available delivery countries and methods are shown at checkout.
The delivery time for products in stock is 3–5 working days within Finland. To other countries the delivery time is typically 5–10 working days. Larger quantities and complete course packages are delivered according to the schedule agreed in the quotation.
Because of their size, baskets, tee pads and signage are generally delivered by freight or on pallets. Pallet delivery requires that the receiving location has unloading facilities. The customer is responsible for ensuring that someone is present at the delivery address to receive the shipment at the agreed time.
In consumer sales, the risk passes to the customer when the product has been handed over to the customer or to a recipient designated by the customer other than the carrier. In business and public sector purchases, the passing of risk is agreed in the quotation.
6. Consumer right of withdrawal
A consumer has the right to withdraw from an order placed online by giving notice within 14 days. The period begins on the day on which the consumer, or a recipient designated by the consumer other than the carrier, takes physical possession of the goods. Where the order is delivered in several consignments, the period begins on receipt of the last consignment. For service contracts, the period begins on the conclusion of the contract.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, send a clear statement to myynti@powergrip.fi or by post to Fritid Finland Oy, Helsinginkatu 21 C, 20100 Turku, Finland. You may use the model form below, but its use is not mandatory. To meet the deadline it is sufficient that the notice is sent before the period expires.
After withdrawal, the goods must be returned without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which the withdrawal was communicated.
6.1 Return costs
The consumer bears the direct cost of returning the goods.
Some of our products cannot be returned by normal post because of their size or weight. For returns within Finland, the return cost is at most 200 euros per item, and at most 150 euros per pallet for consignments delivered on pallets.
For returns from other EU and EEA countries the cost is higher than this. We will provide an estimate of the return cost before the return is made.
6.2 Reimbursement
We will reimburse all payments received, including delivery costs, without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed of the withdrawal. As regards delivery costs, we reimburse the cost of the least expensive standard delivery method we offer. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until the consumer has supplied evidence of having sent them back.
The reimbursement is made using the same means of payment the consumer used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise. The consumer will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.
The consumer is liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. Goods may be examined to the same extent as would be possible in a shop.
6.3 Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
There is no right of withdrawal in the following cases:
- The goods are made to the consumer's specifications or are clearly personalised. This applies, for example, to fairway guides and course guides printed with the customer's own graphics, and to baskets and structures in custom colours.
- The service has been fully performed, performance began with the consumer's prior express consent, and the consumer acknowledged that the right of withdrawal would be lost. This applies, for example, to a course design day or site survey that has been carried out.
6.4 Model withdrawal form
Complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract.
- To: Fritid Finland Oy, Helsinginkatu 21 C, 20100 Turku, Finland, myynti@powergrip.fi
- I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the sale of the following goods or for the supply of the following service:
- Ordered on or received on:
- Name of the consumer:
- Address of the consumer:
- Signature of the consumer (only if this form is notified on paper):
- Date:
7. Consumer statutory rights in case of defects
Where goods are defective, the consumer has statutory rights that are independent of the right of withdrawal and of any commercial guarantee. These include the right to have the defect remedied, to have the goods replaced, to a price reduction or to terminate the contract, as provided for in the applicable consumer protection legislation.
8. Business and public sector purchases
Where the buyer is a company, municipality, club, association or other organisation, the following applies:
- There is no right of withdrawal. A confirmed order is binding on the buyer.
- Cancelling or amending an order after confirmation requires written agreement. Costs already incurred may be charged.
- Goods made to the customer's specifications, such as signage with the customer's own graphics and structures in custom colours, are not taken back.
- Stock items may be taken back case by case by separate agreement if the product is in its original packaging and in saleable condition. A handling fee may be charged.
- The delivery must be inspected without delay on receipt. Discrepancies in quantity or quality must be reported in writing within 8 working days of receipt.
9. Warranty
Artificial turf tee pads carry a 3-year warranty. The warranty covers the material of the turf mat. It does not cover products that have been installed incorrectly or maintained inadequately, nor normal wear and tear.
Warranties for baskets, signage and other structures are stated per product or in the quotation.
The warranty does not limit the consumer's statutory rights.
10. Transport damage and defective products
If a product has been lost or damaged in transit, the customer must note the reservation on the consignment note and file a complaint with the carrier without delay. Please also notify us by email at myynti@powergrip.fi or by phone on +358 45 2718 818. We will help resolve the matter.
Visible damage must be reported without delay after receipt, and hidden damage without delay after it is discovered. Please keep the packaging material until the matter has been resolved.
11. Governing law and dispute resolution
These terms are governed by Finnish law. However, a consumer does not lose the protection afforded by the mandatory provisions of the law of their country of residence.
If a dispute cannot be resolved by negotiation, the consumer may refer the matter to an alternative dispute resolution body in their country of residence. A consumer resident in Finland may contact the consumer advisory service and refer the matter to the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board. A consumer resident in another EU country can obtain assistance with a cross-border dispute from the European Consumer Centres Network (ECC-Net).
Disputes concerning business and public sector purchases are settled by the District Court of Southwest Finland, unless otherwise agreed.
12. Personal data
The processing of personal data is described in our privacy policy.
